The Self
This project explores my experience of ADHD through relief prints that depict the scattered nature of my thoughts. My portrait emerges from a flurry of floating objects, symbolizing the constant movement of my mind. By controlling the pressure of ink, I emphasize the fluidity and unpredictability of these thoughts, capturing the essence of how I process the world around me.
The Other
To contrast this, I used AI-generated designs to represent the opposite of my experience—order, simplicity, and structure. Plain geometric shapes, such as circles and lines, were laser-cut and arranged on a white background, highlighting the rigidity that feels so different from my own mind. Through monoprinting, I introduced subtle imperfections, bridging the gap between the digital and the handmade, further questioning the boundaries between self and other.
